Hello and welcome to Outsource.com. We’ve added a blog to provide our users with news, tips and fun facts. Outsource is a place where we bring the best freelance developers, writers, marketers, sales and administrative service staff together with those in need of these services. Our goal is to provide a safe space for those seeking freelance services with the top talent in the various industries.
Outsource.com provides workflow management, safe payments directly through our site, in app messaging, and more. We pride ourselves on choosing reducing the risks of scams through verifying both the talent and the job submissions. We want our site to be the number one place for both freelancers and their clients.
Check the credentials:
For prospective clients, you may not know what to look for when hiring a freelancer. First, read the bio of the freelancer. Make sure that they have listed their credentials. Not ever freelancer has college degrees or detailed experience. If you think you might want to hire them, read any reviews they may have available. Outsource.com is a site designed to connect professionals with clients seeking high-level talent. Ask to see samples of work before you make a decision. Remember, the lowest cost, is not always the best value. Also, provide as much detail as you can about your project so that potential freelancers know if they have the right skills to meet your needs.
For many new freelancers it can be difficult to know what potential clients are looking for. They will want to see a portfolio of work. If you are coming from a company that owns your work or work mostly under NDAs (Non-Disclosure Agreements) this can be difficult. Take the time to create some small samples of work that you can do so that you have something to show upon request. Also, be sure to fill out your profile completely. If you don’t have reviews, that’s okay. Those will come in time. Make sure that your credentials are available to share with prospective clients.
Do not bid on jobs where you lack the appropriate talent. For example, if you only code HTML, do not bid on jobs that are in JAVA. Writers that do ghost writing should probably avoid copy writing jobs or SEO writing jobs. Use your best judgment and price accordingly.
